Bike Rodeo Brain Injury Awareness for Kids!

A Bike Rodeo for kids aged 3 years to 13 years old (or preK thru 8th grade) will be put on by the BIANM, BIAC, and ABQ parks and recreation.  Participants will receive training on bike safety, bike riding skills, road safety, and brain injury prevention and treatment. Kids will join in fun bike activities to showcase their bike skills.  Free helmets, provided by BIAC, will be provided for kids who need a helmet or need to replace an old helmet.  Educational materials in English and Spanish will be provided to participants.   The event will be on March 18, Saturday from 1 to 3 pm at the Cesar Chavez Community Center on 7505 Kathryn Ave SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108.   Please call the BIANM at (505) 292-7414 and speak with Alberto for more information or to let him know if you and others will attend.
